Fast and easy recipe Fish in Bag (“en papillote”)

Hi guys! Today’s tip is a fast, light and easy recipe for Fish in Bag “en papillote”. Healthy and delicious food that I am sure you will love. When I make that here at home, it succeeds a lot.

The recipe of Fish en papillote that I am going to teach is excellent for when we are on diet, because it is low in calories, furthermore, to be versatile, allows you to prepare many variations and goes well with several accompaniments. So, let’s go to what really matters.

Ingredients of the recipe for Fish en Pappillote

Fish fillet – It can be blue tilapia, flounder, or any other white fish.
Oil
Lemon
Rosemary
Fresh Thyme
Cherry tomatoes
Olive
Capers
Salt as you like
Aluminum foil or waxed paper

I love thyme and rosemary. I have taken a small sprig of each one, here in my vegetable garden and put it inside, but if you use dry herbs it will be very good as well. Truly, these are spices that I like, but you can put what you want, it can be parsley, chive, or ingredients you have there in your home. Besides herbs, I have chosen cherry tomatoes, olive, and capers.

How to do Fish en Papillote

Temper the fish fillets with lemon and salt. Let it marinate, while you cut aluminum foil (or waxed paper) in a quantity of fillets that you want to prepare.

After, put a fillet in each piece of paper, cover it with all ingredients, spill olive oil, and wrap each fillet.

Take it to the oven just for ten minutes and be ready. If you like fish more cooked, you can cook a little bit longer, but do not exaggerate.

While the fish is in the oven, you might prepare a salad to get along with it, or a rice portion, that will also combine very well.
