Hi guys, hope you are doing well! Nowadays the act of taking a picture becomes something so normal that we do not think a lot about it. Photography helps us to revive a past moment and to remember dear people. A manner to prolong feelings of a happening, but above all, it is the history being told through images.
I love photography, I remember that, when I was a child, my father used to show slides on the wall, it was delightful, I have great memories from these moments.
Have you already stopped to think how much emotion a picture has? It synthetizes the sensation of a lived moment. When we look at an image like that, a flash flood of memories comes to our mind, we remind ourselves of everything that happened in that day, what we ate and talked about, everything right there in front of us, summarized in a single photo.
This act of reviving moments is something that makes so well to us! It remembers us of who we are and tells our life history. Everything this is recorded into somewhere in our brain, a little corner that we do not access frequently ad, sometimes, we even forget part of it, but it is enough seeing a picture so that all to come to light, a whirlwind of feelings, absences, happiness, and memories. My gosh! It is so many things…
Meteoric Evolution
The first photography arose in 1826, the result of an accumulation of knowledge and process that resulted in the development of this wonderful thing. I think it is impressive how this technology has had a meteoric evolution. Photography has left to be a rarity, complicated of handling, and restricted to a few people, to something so simple that even a baby can take a picture.
I remember very well the expectation that was to reveal photographic films. We usually took great care when taking pictures, the development was very expensive, we were always in that suspense. Sometimes there was a certain disappointment to see that someone left with their eyes closed, or that the photo was tremble, blurring that sweet memory forever!
However, one thing that always happened was that when the photos were ready, we would relive that emotion, like a movie playing in our memory.
This happened a few years ago, folks! Amazing how things have changed.
Now the photo has gotten so trivial that we can not pass only one day without taking a picture of something. The result of this is a huge volume of information, our memories now get recorded into mobile or computer, with this we do not return to them and get losing that delightful moment of the rescue of our history. That’s very bad in my point of view.
Photo album
I know that there are many options for virtual picture’s album, but it is not the same. Printed pictures bring us a different emotion, it is a moment which we can gather with family and all together to rememorize those memories, each one reminds something, we laugh together, get emotional, we can “touch” the reminds and it has another value.
At quarantine I have reserved a time to organize my photos, I have done some albums that I have not had and printed important pictures. It was one of the best moments of this pandemic period. I have eve recorded a video explaining how to organize family photos, take a look below.
It does not make sense to print all pictures we have in our folders but is very cool to select the most important and create some albums, you might use the scrapbook technique and to have a material totally personalized, or purchase those ready, it does not matter, the fundamental is to have this printed record, this really makes the difference.
After ready, let them at hand, for everyone can handle with whenever that wish. Guys, it is so delightful!
Photos in the decoration
Although I really like photos, when I'm going to decorate a house, I don't usually put picture frames in the social area, I think it's something very intimate, I prefer to show it in the bedrooms and office. It is also very interesting to use the corridors to make a nice photo panel.
I think it's so cool to be in a relaxing environment and suddenly see that photo of someone we like, from a party or a trip. Immediately we are sent back to that moment, and we feel a good thing.
