Hi guys! I have to confess I love a full home. Exciting conversations laughs and good memories, this is so good. As I live out Brazil, I ever host relatives and friends, thereby today I am going to share with you the way I set the home up for enchanting my visits. I should alert you that there is a big risk of your guests do not want to go away.
Let your visit at ease
Letting your visit at ease is the main rule for enchanting but is not saying just the traditional phrase “make yourself at your home”, that we will be able to reach the result. We need to demonstrate that they are very welcome.
I like to organize everything in advance, I let the bedroom ready and perfumed with a slight home spray. After all, it is a delight to be hosted in a good smell ambient after a long journey. I always place, into the room, a tray with fruits and snacks, in case my guests have hangry and get embarrassed to open the freezer to eat something. A jar of water and small chocolate candies must not lack, which will sweet their stay.
One thing that has my way of welcoming people, is letting additional duvet and bed clothes, because we will never know how the weather will behave itself. Suddenly, the weather can get colder and not all people feel comfortable for asking more sheets and blankets. Therefore, I already let it available and, of course, inform where to find it out.
Together with visits, comes that excitement and a delightful euphoria, a will to put the chat updated. Result: we forget practical details of life, like the wi-fi access. So, I always let the password written on a piece of paper, in the bedroom, if they need to access the internet, it will be already there.
If you live in a town which has tourist’ points, like me, make available some maps and flyers, though it is possible to search by mobile, your guests will enjoy this care.
Another thing that I always make available in the bedroom is a little box with basic medicines like painkillers and antacids. After all, we all take a risk of a boring headache at night.
Of course, for making eyes happy, a beautiful vase of flowers cannot lack in the bedroom.
Ideal guest bedroom
Not everyone has an exclusive guest bedroom, for this reason, is very common to have a day bed in the office to this finality, there is no problem with it, it is possible to create a cozy atmosphere, in the same manner, it is just to follow the tips in this post that the success is guaranteed.
For those who have a guest room, the question always gets, should I place a double bed or two single beds? If we put two single beds when we have to hostess a couple, the beds simply cannot stay together, because during the night they drift apart each other, in addition, there will be a gap between them. But I have a wonderful tip to solve this problem…
There is a kit, compound of a belt which links the two beds, it is a protruding foam that fits in the gap. It’s perfect! The bed gets enormous and very comfortable. Watch the video below and understand how this solution works.
Guest bathroom
In case you have an exclusive guest bathroom , it will be very welcome. Remind, however, to provide soap, toothpaste, and shampoo. Everything neutral because we do not know what people's preferences are. Let towels clean and dry. Generally, the guests bring these things, but, independent of this, our play role as a hostess, is to ensure that is available, in case they need it. Of course, you cannot forget to keep an unselfish stock of toilet paper and be sure this will never lack.
If your bathroom is shared, the rules are the same. Just let the mentioned items in the bedroom, so that your guests feel served and welcomed in their most basic needs.
A ready home for hosting
The bedroom guest is a cozy little corner, that will attend as a “refuge” for our visits, always they want to be in privacy, meanwhile, I like they feel free also in the common areas, so, I let the coffee machine ready with cups, sugar, and little candies so that my visit can drink a coffee whenever they want.
At last, it is very important to teach how the home devices work, like TV, air conditioning, home theater etc.
I guarantee that if you follow my tips, your visitors will feel welcomed and will be more comfortable during their stay at your home.
